This is a drawing I made during the summer salmon season to explain for a half-purse seine functions. The drawing was made to show the form of the net and highlights the purse line slightly in blue to distinguish it from the other parts of the net, making the entire process visible by removing the water from the image.
The scale is not accurate - there is muck more web in real life.
